Our shops

Pineappleland is what Playa calls the inside of a shop. Ours is on Verrado Way in Buckeye, with a second one on the way at Kierland in Scottsdale.

Schools, teams, clubs and churches pick a night at the shop, their people come in, and 20% of what they buy goes back to the group. It costs the group nothing. ALA cheer and football have done it.

Our story

Our grandfather started building in Phoenix. His son turned it into Record Construction. The third generation grew up on those jobs, runs the companies today, and wrote a book about what it takes to hand a family business to the next generation without wrecking it.

In 2025 we opened our first Playa Bowls in Buckeye. We hired people who had never worked a register and taught them the way we teach apprentices: show up when you say you will, and do it right the first time.

The goal is not a lot of shops. It is a few shops that run well, with managers who could run their own someday.
